Martin Caceres may have played his last game for Juventus after
tearing his Achilles tendon during Wednesday night's 1-0 win over Genoa.
Juventus confirmed the defender's injury on their official website and said he would have surgery on Friday.
Caceres, 28, it means an uncertain future with no more opportunities to prove he warrants a new deal, with his current terms to expire in the summer.
"We're sorry for Caceres because he's crucial for us because he's so reliable and relaxed," teammate Andrea Barzagli said in La Stampa.
