I HAD OFFERS FROM TOP EUROPEAN CLUBS SAYS THOMAS MULLER

German striker Thomas Muller has said that he had offers from other clubs before putting pen to paper on a new deal at Bayern Munich last year.
In an interview with Munich daily Abendzeitung, Muller said: "Yes, there were offers. But looking at the footballing side, we are in the top three in Europe alongside Barcelona and Madrid."
Muller added: "England might have the money -- but we'll see if they will return to the top of Europe because of that. It was easy to prolong my contract here from a sporting point of view."
CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said in October: "I am not a banker. We are a football club. That is why we never even considered selling Thomas Muller."
