The former AC Milan manager contract up for renewal in the summer, his name continues to be linked with other jobs, but Marotta says he has no reason to be concerned.
"We've got a cordial and respectful relationship with Allegri," Marotta told RAI television. "There are no secrets between us and there's no secrets between us and Real Madrid either.
"Allegri is a professional and we want to carry on this cycle with him. His [signing a] new contract is just a formality. I've said it already and I repeat it now."
Allegri led Juventus to success in the Serie A and Coppa Italia last season, also guiding the club to the final of the Champions League, where they were beaten by Barcelona.
They travel to face Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Champions League round-of-16 tie having drawn the first leg 2-2, and Marotta says all is not lost in that tie either.
"We will head to the Allianz Arena with great determination, aware that 2-2 from the first leg is a handicap but with the chance to turn things around and the conviction we can do it," Marotta said. "We want to get through."
