Germany legend Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has no issues with Pep Guardiola making plans for his Manchester City future, the Bayern Munich CEO has told Bild. Guardiola and Begiristian are both allies from Barcelona were seen together in Amsterdam on Monday, where it was widely reported in the media that they discussed their plans for the the up coming season,when the Catalan tactician start presiding at the Etihad.
The meeting,was first reported by Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, took place in a city-centre hotel, with representatives of Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan also in attendance.
according to Rummenigge, as his future plans do not affect his current work for the Allianz Arena. "Pep Guardiola still does an incredible job here every day. He's as focused as on his first day. And it's his business what he does on his free day," Rummenigge said.
"It's totally legitimate and OK if he starts working his future then. It would be naïve to assume that he will only begin after June 30. Thus, It's no problem at all."
