ROMA CAPTURES DIEGO PEROTTI ON LOAN FROM GENOA

Roma have beaten the transfer deadline to sign Argentine winger Diego Perotti on loan from Genoa.
The 27-year-old will represent the Giallorossi until June 2017 but could make his deal at the Stadio Olimpico permanent if Roma pay Genoa €9 million.
A statement published on Roma's official website confirmed Perotti, who has also played for Sevilla, had completed a medical with the Serie A club on Monday.
He said: "This is a very important step in my career. I'm glad to have joined a great team like Roma."
