Manchester City have lost winger Jesus Navas ahead of their clash against leaders Leicester. The Spaniard faces a minimum of three weeks out with a hamstring injury suffered in the midweek win at Sunderland. Captain Vincent Kompany (calf) is making encouraging progress but is not yet fit to return. Defender Eliaquim Mangala (hamstring), midfielders Kevin De Bruyne (knee/ankle) and Samir Nasri (thigh), plus striker Wilfried Bony (shin), remain on the sidelines.

Remi Garde is facing a striker crisis with Jordan Ayew banned for the next three games. The forward was sent off in the 2-0 defeat at West Ham on Tuesday and starts his suspension against Norwich on Saturday. Fellow strikers Libor Kozak and Rudy Gestede are also out with Kozak expected to be sidelined for a month after a minor fracture to his ankle but Gestede (hamstring) could return next week. Ashley Westwood (calf) may be available but Carlos Sanchez (hamstring), Adama Traore (foot) and Jordan Amavi (knee) are all out.

Midfielder Gary O'Neil has now completed a three-match ban following his dismissal at Stoke, while striker Patrick Bamford will be in the squad for the first time since signing on loan from Chelsea ahead of the transfer deadline.

Saido Berahino will be in the squad against the club who had a bid for him rejected before the transfer deadline, although Baggies boss Tony Pulis says the striker is unlikely to start as he continues to build up his fitness.

Fellow forward Josh King came off the bench in the 2-1 midweek win at Crystal Palace and could be in line to start against the Gunners as he continues his return to full fitness following a hamstring problem. Max Gradel and Callum Wilson remain on the long-term absentee list but Howe says their comebacks are on schedule, meaning Gradel could be back in March and Wilson available for April.
