Jurgen Klopp has laughed off insinuations that his ward Daniel Sturridge wants exit from Liverpool in the summer.
A number of English tabloids including the Daily Mail and Daily Mirror claims
on Friday that the England striker Sturridge will seek a transfer because he is fed up with
criticism over his fitness and desire to succeed.Questioned about the reports, Klopp said: "Who has suggested he wants to leave? I am not interested. He's looked great in training.
"Daniel had problems in the past but this is past. It would be cool to leave it there. Every player needs consistent training to be fit for Premier League football. We have tried everything we could.
"He's had two days training, today is the third. He won't play on Saturday but he could feature against West Ham on Tuesday.
"The Daniel 'story'? There is no story. You can't create stories then ask me about them. It's not frustrating, it's not interesting."
