MERCEDES PICTURE PUTS BENDTNER IN TROUBLE WITH WOLFBURG

Denmark international Nicklas Bendtner faces a fine from Wolfsburg after posting a photo of himself on Instagram getting into a Mercedes -- rivals to the Bundesliga club's sponsor Volkswagen.
Bendtner, posted the picture on his Instagram account earlier this week, with the image showing him climbing into the car, alongside text saying: "On my way to another session."
The former arsenal striker looks to have landed himself in trouble with his club, with Wolfsburg director of sport Klaus Allofs stating his anger at the decision to post a photo featuring a rival manufacturer's car.
"We have our rules, one of those being that you must pay attention to how you are photographed in public," Allofs is quoted as saying by Sport1. "The rules are not new.
"It's misconduct and it's careless, which at the end of the day will cost [Bendtner] money."
