Diego Costa reaction to Boaz Myhill during Chelsea's draw with West Brom
Chelsea and West Brom have been charged by the Football Association in the wake of Wednesday night's 2-2 draw.
Both clubs are charged with failing to control their players
during a second-half incident, one of several during a heated Premier
League game. The mass confrontation was sparked by Diego Costa's reaction to an off-the-ball tangle of legs with West Brom midfielder Claudio Yacob.
Yacob had already been booked, but referee Anthony Taylor did not show a second yellow card and Tony Pulis substituted the player moments later.
Chelsea have twice this season been fined for the same offence, once after September's 2-0 win over Arsenal and again following a defeat at West Ham in October.
West Brom were hit with a £25,000 penalty following a similar incident during last month's home game against Tottenham.
The clubs have until 6pm on Wednesday to respond to the charges.
