NIGERIA DRAW AGAINST TUNISIA


Nigeria drew 1-1 with Tunisia in their second Group C game at the African Nations Championship on Friday.
Chisom Chikatara opened the west African nation's account, scoring seven minutes after the break.
But the lead would not hold up, as Ahmed Akaichi earned the Tunisians the point with a strike in the 70th minute.               GUINEA HELD BY NIGER
In the other group game, Guinea twice stormed back from deficits to earn a 2-2 draw with Niger.
Aboubacar Sylla cancelled out Abdul Oumarou's goal just two minutes after he'd given Niger a 37th-minute lead.
Adamou Moussa struck five minutes after the break to give the Guineans a 2-1 advantage, but it wouldn't last as Kile Bangoura secured the draw in the 79th.
After two rounds of play, Nigeria sit top of the group with four points, followed by Tunisia and Guinea with two, and Niger with one.
