The Super Eagles departed Pretoria where they had 10-day preparation and played international friendlies against Angola and Cote d’Ivoire.

The team will be lodged at Hill View Hotel in Kigali during the group stages of the competition. The hotel is located in the Kiyovu district, inside the Kigali City Center and will house the Eagles for 11 days.
They leave Kigali for Gisenyi where they will play their final group game against Guinea on January 26.
Nigeria B will confront Niger Republic in their opening game on January 18 at the Stade Regional Nyamirambo on the outskirts of Kigali. They will later tackle Tunisia and Guinea in Group C.
The NFF has approved $2000 winning bonus for the team and earn $1000 for a draw at the 2016 African Nations Championship while the technical crew will earn $4,000 for a win, and $2,000 for a draw.
